Writers block? Just do it! says Maya Angelou. Or more specifically: “What I try to do is write. I may write for two weeks ‘the cat sat on the mat, that is that, not a rat.’ And it might be just the most boring and awful stuff. But I try. When I’m writing, I write. And then it’s as if the muse is convinced that I’m serious and says, ‘Okay. Okay. I’ll come.’”

How does this all work? You send us in your original manuscript and we will assess it and come back to you with the next step. We accept submissions in the following genres:

Fiction: Children’s, Crime, Fantasy, Historical, Horror, Humour, Poetry, Romance, Science Fiction, Short Stories, Thrillers, Young Adult.

Non-Fiction: Adventure, Autobiography, Cookery, Educational, Health, Historical, Memoirs, New Age, Psychological Counselling, Religion,Self-Help, Sport, Travel, True To Life, War, Women’s Issues.

We look forward to seeing your work! When you make your submission, be sure to include a 300 - 500 words synopsis. along with examples of your work taken from your manuscript. We prefer this to be the first 3 chapters or 3 consecutive chapters. For poetry or non-chaptered work, please send approx 1/3rd of your collection as a sample.

The manuscript should be submitted in a Word document by email attachment or via a shared Google Document. Be sure to spell-check and double space the text. 

We also require a full cover letter with your name, contact details, background information, level of writing experience, proposed title of your work and any relevant prior publications. 

NOTE: We only accept your work for consideration on the basis that this is strictly original and all your own writing.
